You're Useless, I Love You is the second album from 1000000000s ("Billions"), the late-night solo project of the many-armed James Krivchenia (Happy You, Mega Bog, Big Thief, Causings). Useless decodes phonemes from all over the electronic palate and rearranges them into twisted reflections of a pop ethic. The sound of a drum machine thinking about what it's capable of, the hidden worlds of digital artifacting, a scratched Taylor Swift CD in your car stereo. The internet of music, crystallized through repetition, reflected into itself.
